In an episode of care, there is information that relates to a patient's treatment and/or condition but is not an exercise that needs to be prescribed or monitored. Some examples might include: A PDF showing the steps to prepare an ice pack at home, a video showing how to clean a wound, or a webpage about arthritis.
For this type of information, use the Resources feature in PTIH. Resources distributes your information to a patient's In Hand Health Patient App and stores it in its own section along side his or her home exercise program, messages, and progress charts.
Resources can be video or PDF files you upload from your computer or smartphone into our system. They can also be URLs (web addresses/links) to webpages on the Internet.
Resources are associated with an episode of care in a patient's record. If a patient has more than one episode of care, you can attach Resources that are specific to each episode.
