About Physical Therapy In Hand (PTIH) Accounts

An account in PTIH is established as a “Clinic” that represents your physical therapy practice. Each PTIH Clinic has “Staff” (physical therapists, patient administrators, and clinic administrators) and “Patients”. See the following diagram for more information:

Clinic

All account activity in PTIH is performed and recorded in the context of a “Clinic” which has the same name in PTIH as your real physical therapy practice (e.g. Elite Physical Therapy).

Staff

Add the physical therapists and other employees of your PT practice to the PTIH clinic as “Staff” members. Each person you add as a staff member must have a clinic user license. (See also Staff Roles.)

Patients

Records for your patients are created in PTIH and assigned to one or more Therapists in your clinic. Clinics can have an unlimited number of patients.
